Joe Jonas was in Chicago for the B96 Summer Bash – but the singer made time for the club scene. Jonas partied with DJ Syphe at club The Underground, where he debuted his new dance song, “See No More,” to a packed house. Days before trekking to the Windy City, Jonas stepped out for a cheeseburger dinner at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont. He was in good spirits as he drank a soda and enjoyed his meal with two guy friends, according to an onlooker.

JOE JONAS TALKS ABOUT GOING SOLO, BRAWLING WITH HIS BROS ON Z100 RADIO
Despite the crackle on his phone, newly single (as in his romantic and professional status) Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers was upbeat when chatting with Elvis Duran of Z100 in New York City early Monday morning, June 13.

The DJ started out the segment, commenting that he recently spent some time Joe’s older bro Kevin, and that Kevin is psyched about Joe’s solo career beyond the Jonas Brothers. Joe responded by saying that there is, in fact, no sibling rivalry or wishing the others brothers don’t succeed.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some knock down drag-outs emblematic of most brotherly relationships, where they find other ways to blow off steam. “We get int to it and we’re all archers, so we can do a little target practice,” Jonas said.

A little fighting among brothers is a normal — even healthy — activity, and Jonas also acknowledged there have been some good brawls in dressing rooms and hotels, which happens among celebrity siblings once in a while. When one of the show hosts said her brother used to pin her down and fart in her face when they were kids, Joe joked that is also a Jonas Family tradition.

Joe also confirmed that the JoBros are not over, but rather just on a break. A solo career seemed like the right step for him creatively and that “now” feels like the best time to embark on it. Joe’s first solo show took place this weekend in Chicago, and while it was odd to be up there alone, he said it felt right and he loves being on stage.

Of course, seeing cutouts of just him is something he may have to get use to. When a fan in Chicago came running full force towards the car Joe was in with a cardboard cutout, Joe said he was essentially staring at himself for a second. Oh, the perils of fame.

The ladies still love Joe Jonas, whether he is solo or with Kevin and Nick!

Joe Jonas will be heading to Europe by the end of this week (June 15th he will be flying out to Europe) to promote his single, “See No More” and his upcoming album that is releasing in September titled, “Fast Life”. Joe Jonas’s first stop will be in Milan, Italy on June 17th (MEET & GREET PLANNED). The second stop be will in Madrid, Spain on June 20th (where he will guest star on the show, El Hormiguero – More DETAILS here), the next stop will be in Paris, France on June 22nd (MEET & GREET PLANNED).

One-time Jonas Brother Joe has gone solo, he’s got a soul patch and his lead single, “See No More” (available Monday on iTunes), couldn’t be less similar to anything the JoBros. have churned out in their scream-worthy career. This angst-ridden r&b track, co-written by Chris Brown, finds 21-year-old Joe playing the jilted lover over atmospheric synths: “I tried to look away from what you did/Heartache became my friend, oh-oh-oh,” he croons. “You walked away from me baby/I would have never done the same/You made me feel like our love was not real/You threw it all away.” Set to appear on Jonas’ solo debut, “Fast Life,” the track sounds like the sequel to “No Air,” Brown’s forlorn, can’t-live-without-you duet with Jordin Sparks. Jonas seems to be trying to forge an identity independent of his smiley, squeaky-clean bro band — and it’s working.

Joe Jonas’ Concert at B96 Pepsi Bash

Joe Jonas’ concert at B96 Pepsi Bash in Chicago Saturday night was a big hit. This was Joe’s first solo performance without his brothers. Many Jonas fans were in the crowd cheering him on as he performed three new songs from his soon-to-be released solo CD in September. Joe sang his new song See No More that was introduced on the air waves last week. He also performed two new, never-heard-before songs called Fast Life and Love Slayer.

There was a new side of Joe Jonas on stage. The obvious was that his two brothers, Kevin and Nick, were not on stage with him; however, Joe had plenty of support from his whole family, including his brothers. Another side we have not seen of Joe were the female dancers on stage during the song Love Slayer. Not sure if that was a good side of Joe, but fans sure loved his music. The dancers may not have been necessary because Joe seemed to dance quite well by himself.

Joe started out on stage in a leather jacket, which was a great look for him, but of course, that jacket came off during one of the numbers. That is usually a big highlight of the night that started on the Jonas Brothers tour. Joe Jonas’ concert at B96 left his fans hoarse from screaming and very eager to see him back on stage maybe for a future solo concert and eager to hear more of his music.

Joe Tweeted “Chicago! You rocked! I loved loved loved tonight. I’ll never forget it!” right after the concert. He was so excited to be doing what he loves to do, which is making music for his fans. It may be that “ProudofJoeJ” may just be a top trending Tweet, thanks to his fans on Twitter.
