Joe Jonas Chats To Us About His Brothers And His Dream Collaborations
In part 2 of our interview with the star….
Ok, so in part one (read it here) we talked to Joe about his new single, See No More, where we tried to coax the name of the person See No More was about. Sadly, Joe kept schtum so we moved onto finding out what Kevin and Nick Jonas think of their brother’s solo material and who he’d love to collaborate with.
Having performed in a band with your brothers in the past, how does it feel to perform and record as a solo artist?
Um, It’s been cool. Actually my brothers being supportive has been the biggest thing for me, because without their support it would have been more difficult, but it’s been a lot of fun.
What do Kevin and Nick think about your solo material?
They really like it. They’ve been really excited about listening to it. They think it’s really great and they even have their own copy of the record so it’s cool to see their reaction.
At this point we wonder if Joe gave his brothers signed copies of his record…
(Laughs) No, they don’t have signed copies.
How does your solo material differ from The Jonas Brothers material?
I think what’s different is the music. For me, I really wanted to try something that was more music and dance and different from the bands you hear. I wanted something that I could create on my own and also lyrically it’s a bit more mature with the stuff I’ve written about in the past few years.
Now that Joe has worked with Chris Brown, we wanted to know who he’d like to collaborate with. Luckily for us, he’s loving the British talent!Adele, I think Adele is fantastic and I’m not just trying to jump on that bandwagon. I think she’s a great artist so I’d love to work with someone like her. And also Tinnie Tempah is an amazing artist right now.
What made you want to go solo?
It was just timing. I wanted to make a project on my own for a while and I was waiting for the correct time and now seemed an appropriate space because Nick and Kevin wanted some time off and I wanted to keep on working so I took advantage.
Do you have any plans to go on tour?I’d love to tour all over. I want to go from the US to South America. It’d be really fun to be able to travel. We’re actually planning a tour in the next few weeks or so, so you’ll probably hear more tour dates.
With the business out of the way we wanted to know what Joe would be doing for the summer?Well, just a lot of promotion. I’m in Paris for another few days and then I head back and spend some time at home which will be nice before I jet out again to work.
As our time with the lovely Joe was running out, we asked him what he had to say to his fans in the UK.
I’m looking forward to seeing them. I can’t wait to play in England soon.

Having made us go all gooey with his brothers Kevin and Nick in The Jonas Brothers, Joe is set to make us swoon all over again as he embarks on his solo career, with his new single, See No More. Entertainmentwise caught up with the very dishy star for a chat!
Hi Joe, You’re new single See No More Is Out August 8th. What is it about?
See No More is pretty much based around the end of a relationship and how everything around you reminds you of that person, whether good or bad. It could be an article of clothing or a favourite restaurant you used to go to together. So it’s about dealing with the emotions when you’re reminded of them.
(At this point, we’re dying to find out just who See You No More is about, so we go in for the kill…) Ok, so can you tell us who the particular person is in See You No More?
I try to shy away from who I say it’s about so the audience can relate a little bit better to what I’m going through.

How are you preparing for the release of See No More?
I haven’t really been preparing. I’ve been doing a bit of travelling and promoting here and there and it’s been really great, really fantastic. I’ve been performing in America because the song has actually released over there, so it’s been great to see the response and to see what people are saying and that’s been really great.
We see that you wrote See No More with Chris Brown, what was that like?It was great working with Chris Brown, he’s a fantastic artist and it was really fun for me to work with him. I look forward to hopefully working with him again in the future.
A future collaboration perhaps?
Maybe. I mean right now I’m more focused on just the solo stuff and working on my own but later down the road, I could definitely see myself doing a collaboration with him.
Ok, so did Chris give you any tips?
Yeah, the one tip he gave me was to have fun, y’know just to enjoy this and go out there and have fun.
Excellent! So where does your inspiration for your songs come from?
My inspiration comes from personal places, usually relationships but even things like the band, my experience with my brothers over the past few years.

Disney product Joe Jonas was rumoured to be supporting Britney Spears on her European tour this year, after it was confirmed that he would share the stage with her at a show in New Jersey – and Stereoboard can now confirm these rumours as true.
The singer and guitar player, who is focusing on his solo career rather than his brotherly trio the Jonas Brothers, posted on Twitter a few days ago revealing that he would be supporting the popstar at one of her US Femme Fatale tour shows in New Jersey on Friday.
Twitter was packed with fans talking about the chance to see both Joe Jonas and Britney Spears at the same gig, and now their prayers have been answered as Joe will be Britney’s warm-up act on selected dates. He has been confirmed to play at Dublin’s 02 Arena on October 24th, while other dates have yet to be confirmed.
Joe has been promoting his solo career for the last month and has taken a huge step by supporting the ‘Toxic’ singer at two of her Femme Fatale dates. His debut solo single ‘See No More’ came out last Friday, and his full debut album ‘Fast Life’ comes out on September 5th – plenty of time for fans to learn the words to his songs before he graces the stage with Britney later this year.

Joe Jonas Joining Britney Spears on European Tour

Now, the 21-year-old singer will be joining his childhood crush on her European tour starting Oct. 16, he tells PEOPLE.
“It’s a dream come true,” says Jonas, who will be opening for Spears and promoting his upcoming solo album Fastlife, to be released Oct. 11.
“She was the first girl I ever had a poster on my wall of, and her album was the first CD I ever bought,” says Jonas. “It’s so funny to think I had that on my wall and here I am about to perform with her.”
Jonas first met Spears, 29, at an awards show a few years ago and says, “She’s a very sweet lady.”
He’ll join Spears’s Femme Fatale tour on Aug. 5 for one date in the U.S., then open 10 shows in Europe, with performances in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
“I’m really looking forward to being part of this,” he says.
“I’ll be playing more music than I have the past few times I’ve performed live so far,” he adds. “It’s going to be really fun to perform some of my music from the album.”

It looks like we’ll have to wait a little big longer for Joe Jonas’ solo debut Fast Life.
The album was original scheduled to drop in September but it looks like we’ll now have to wait until October. Joe tweeted this morning, “This just in… I will be performing at the @BritneySpears concert in NJ on Aug 5. and get ready for #FastLife in stores Oct. 11.”
While we have to wait for the album, how cool is it that Joe gets to open for Britney?!?! Congrats Joe!
Joe has been one busy guy lately. Not only has he been promoting his single “See No More” all over the world, but he just filmed his music video for “Just In Love With You” in the most romantic city of all…Paris! We can’t wait for that video!

JOE JONAS – who separated from Twilight actress Ashley Greene last year and has recently been spotted with model Karlie Kloss – is reluctant to reveal his ideal woman, just in case he meets her.
“You’re always looking for the right person,” he said, but struggled to be more specific. “Hmm, that’s hard to say. I change my mind all the time; and if you do name someone it’s then awkward when you bump into them… Elizabeth Taylor. In her heyday, she was amazing.”
Whether there is a special person for him just now or not, the singer – who turned model this month for Mr Porter – does have room for one love in his life other than music: fashion.
“I love fashion,” he told The Journal. “Over the past year I’ve got heavily into it. Whether I’m going out for the night, or during the day, I love putting on something that pops and makes you feel comfortable. I’m a big shoe guy, too. I have far too many pairs. Whenever there’s a new style out, I’ll text my stylist: ‘Can we get a pair of those?’”
