Joe explains what each song on “Fastlife” is about.
Posted 1 hr ago by Jason Newman
You already know that Joe Jonas is MTV.com’s POSTED artist for October, right? Which means we have tons of info, interviews and videos surrounding the release of the singer’s debut album Fastlife. So check out new videos below that show Jonas detailing what’s on his “bucket list” and explaining the meaning behind the phrase “Fastlife.”
While “going on vacation” seems like a strange “bucket list” answer, Joe redeems himself with a list of extreme sports such as skydiving and bungee jumping. There’s also a Machu Picchu request which, if fulfilled, should be accompanied by a MTV Buzzworthy film crew and reporter (cough, cough).
Jonas also details the meaning behind his album title, noting, “It explains my crazy busy life. I don’t even know where I’ll be tomorrow. That’s mostly my schedule. It all depends on realizing that this is a blessing having fun. There’s so many people that don’t have this opportunity and I’m lucky enough to be doing this for a living.”

Taking his solo pop music repertoire overseas, Joe Jonas rocked out in the Netherlands earlier this week.
The “See No More” singer drew quite a crowd as he performed songs off of his newly-released album Fastlife as well as some Jonas Brothers favorites.
Additionally, Joe also threw in a fabulous cover version of Chris Brown’s mega-hit “Beautiful People.”
And, raising eyebrows, Mr. Jonas seemed to be extra friendly with one of his backup dancers who just happened to be wearing a skimpy vest/cutoff shorts ensemble.
Enjoy the pictures of Joe Jonas performing a concert at at Ahoy Rotterdam (October 19).
Joe Jonas’s episode on “The Wendy Williams Show” airs today, it was pre-taped when Joe Jonas was in NYC. Below are the videos.
We’ll let you judge his cockney accent for yourselves
Joe Jonas is beautiful, but if we’re totally honest with you guys, he’s generally a little boring in interviews. We know he’s up for a laugh and does all kinds of comedy shows and skits and sketches and other such fun, but when it’s up to him to come up with his own stuff, we usually take the time to have a nap.
Sorry. We love him, but sometimes love hurts.
So when we saw Joe at Radio 1′s Teen Awards this weekend we though “ooh, how about we get Joe to put on his best cockney accent and say some UK phrases? Ooh YEAH. That’ll be good.”
Joe seemed a little unsettled.
So, the phrases we had ready for him were:
Alright mate, what you lookin’ at? I’ll have chips, cheese & curry sauce please love. The bloody ref’s an IDIOT! You get me yeah? Know what I mean yeah? You get me? But he seemed to get bored after the first two.
Good effort though Joe! Stellar. Sterling. Bravo.
WASHINGTON – Joe Jonas, one-third of the pop sensation Jonas Brothers, is going solo. His new album, FastLife, out Tuesday, is better suited to a dance club than the Disney Channel. Jonas, 22, who has been on the road with Jay Sean and joins Britney Spears on her European tour starting Sunday, spoke with USA TODAY about his album and performing without his bros.
Q: Your new album seems to delve into your past relationships. Why did you decide to write about that?
A: When I started writing for the record, I wanted it to be very personal … even though it’s scary because it’s just (me) by myself. People are going to listen and try to pinpoint what the lyrics are about, but I did my best without saying any names.Q: But this doesn’t sound like a breakup album; it’s pretty upbeat. Where do you think people will listen to your music?
A: Love Slayer is being played at clubs. I wrote the record for people to listen to in the car, with friends, wherever.Q: What was it like to work with Chris Brown?
A: Fantastic. We just got together to play music and listen to each other’s stuff, and quickly it became us songwriting. We wrote (first single) See No More together, and he wrote Lighthouse, too, that I love.Q: Lil Wayne remixed one of your songs. How did that come about?
A: (Second single) Just in Love was already finished, and he wanted to put a rap on the song, put a remix out, which is so exciting because I’m a huge Lil Wayne fan.Q: How do you find enough energy to perform every night?
A: Even if I’m tired or exhausted or not feeling great, when I look out into the audience and I see those fans — that energy that they pull out of me is just hard to explain. Being on your own (without brothers Nick and Kevin) is a different thing because you put pressure on yourself to make the show great. (The day after this interview, Kevin surprised fans by showing up onstage with Joe at his show at Best Buy Theater in New York.)Q: What do you do for fun on tour?
A: Bowling. It’s a fun thing, keeps it light. Everybody loves bowling — and playing video games. It’s kind of a tradition now on tour. Before we go on stage, we have to play. … I love sightseeing. Recently, we went to Austin and to the university there. I was able to see, almost, a college life. Something that I missed out on.Q: What else do you do before you go on stage?
A: I go over the dance steps in my mind. I go over the music. I warm up. I do about 50 push-ups with my trainer and my security just to get pumped up before a show, get our energy up. And then I just go have fun.Q: Do you sleep well on the bus after that?
A: I love the tour bunks. I can sleep like a baby in those bunks. It really doesn’t bother me at all. A lot of people have a difficult time — they’re like, “It’s like a coffin.” I get in there and I just pass out. You can’t even wake me up.Q: Any plans for the Jonas Brothers to get back together after your tour?
A: Definitely. Right now, we’re just doing our individual stuff. And then when the time is right, (we’ll) get back together and start this up.Q: Do you have any advice for younger artists trying to break into the music industry?
A: I was living that life for six years, still kind of am. It can be a very scary thing. I’m lucky I had a family and good friends to keep my head on straight and to realize it’s a dream come true.

Hot Hits Exclusive: Joe Jonas Loves His Australian Fans And Wants To Visit
05 October 2011One of our all-time favourite artists at thehothits.com is Joe Jonas (and his brothers!) so we tracked him down and asked him what we’ve always wanted to know — when is he coming to Australia?
Street reporter Alex called up Joe for a chat about his new music, and got the goss on Lil Wayne, ‘Fastlife’ and his ‘Just In Love’ video.
Plus we promised you guys we would ask about a recent Twitter trending topic – ‘Australia Wants Joe J’. And we were shocked by his response!
“I saw that,” Joe told thehothits.com. “It makes me really happy. I did see it. It was really incredible. You know, I mean the fact that I can have fans supporting me that way and really showing their love over Twitter, I’m definitely going to have to make an effort to get to Australia really soon.”
While that’s not exactly a concrete arrival date, we did ask whether his brothers would possibly join him.
“Well I’ll have to try to convince them, I’m sure they won’t mind,” Joe said.
The second half of our interview will be online tomorrow — prepare yourself, because Joe gives us the dirt on Delta Goodrem, Renee Bargh, Taylor Swift and purity rings!
EXCLUSIVE: Joe Jonas Approves Of Little Brother Nick’s Girlfriend Delta Goodrem
06 October 2011Joe Jonas has revealed to thehothits.com that he most definitely approves of his little brother Nick’s relationship with Aussie singer Delta Goodrem!
Joe brought up Delta as soon as we asked him about rumours that he has been spending time with Aussie TV presenter Renee Bargh.
Joe told thehothits.com, “I do know Renee, she’s good friends obviously with Delta who is Nick’s girl. So we kind of all hang out and she’s a really cool girl.”
And since he has mentioned Delta, we thought this was the perfect chance to find out what he thinks of Delta and whether he approves of her relationship with Nick!
“Oh yeah, Delta’s a sweetheart,” he said. “I really love her, and I definitely approve. She’s a really awesome girl and a good friend of mine now too.”
Delta joined Nick in Brazil for his South American tour — and his parents were there too. Sounds like the whole family approves!

Joe Jonas is “Just In Love” with his new solo album, Fastlife, and apparently the rest of the Jonas Brothers are too!
Joe’s first solo album, Fastlife, will be released next week and he explained to Today that he has the full support of his brothers, Kevin and Nick.
But was he nervous when he first asked the rest of the Jonas Brothers if he could go solo?
“I think so,” Joe admitted to Ann Curry. “When we sat down together we were all trying to figure out what we were going to do for 2011 — it was like a year and a half ago — sat down with them and said, ‘Guys, I would love to work on a project. Not sure for myself or for somebody else.’ And I just kind of fell in to it. Started working with producers and writers and here I am today.”
And now Joe is ready for the release of his solo album.
“I’m very excited. I think having my brothers’ support going into this project means everything to me and the fans seem to like the new music. I’m just ready for it to be out there. I’m ready to show the world kinda of what I’ve been working on for the past year.”

Posted on October 3, 2011 at 7:30 AMJoe Jonas called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to world premiere the remix of his hit record “Just In Love” featuring Lil’ Wayne, squash rumors of “hooking up” with ex-girlfriend Ashley Greene, and break the alleged “No Sex Hex” on his old home which actress Olivia Wilde now lives in.
Joe linked up with Lil’ Wayne “three years ago when Russell Brand was hosting the VMAs. I remember walking up to him and saying, ‘Hello Mr. Lil’ Wayne, I’m Joe Jonas,’ and he’s like ‘JONASSSSS!!!’ Ever since then I told him that I wanted to work together someday if it makes sense, and then this project came along.”
He concludes, “He made this remix, and he killed it. It’s a dream come true for me.”
Joe denies ever ‘hooking up’ with old flame Ashley Greene while at iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas, “I’m sorry to disappoint all those ‘Jashley’ fans, but if ‘Hooking up’ is you talking about ‘making out’ that unfortunately didn’t happen.”
Recently, Olivia Wilde claimed the Jonas Brothers, as the previous owners of her new home, haunted her house and placed a “No Sex Hex” on her home. Joe reacts by saying, “I think its hilarious, but the house isn’t haunted because of us. Maybe she’s just having some trouble on her own!”
