Head over to JonasSpanish.com for a personal experience from one of the fan who was waiting at the hotel in Madrid. They have some photos as well. Basically, he arrived around 3pm, but he couldn’t stop because there were so many people and at one point some of them started to scream and throw themselves at him, so the bodyguards kept Joe inside until the fans gave him the space to get into the car. When it was time for him to go to shoot the TV show “El Hormiguero”, Joe tried to stop and sign and take pictures. The bodyguards kept saying to (the fans to) stay calm and be patient and make space for him to do so, but he only was able to sign a few autographs because while he was at one side attending the fans, people behind him started to run towards him and it became too crazy so they had to go inside and try the other door. Fans who were inside got to take a picture with him and talk to him for a bit, and those who had won M&G said he was extremely nice with them, took pictures and signed everything they brought. He also answered every question, and said that the music video for “See No More” will be ready in about 2-3 weeks.

Joe Jonas was in Spain. Yesterday (6/20), he signed autographs and took pictures with the fans that were at his hotel, but that’s not all, he was also with Bravo! On being solo: It definitely feels like everything is moving very fast. I’ve been doing music with my brothers my whole life. Now I feel like I have the opportunity to tell a little bit more from my point of view. I think “Fast Life” does exactly that. And even though everything is moving fast and busy it’s still very fun, innocent, and exciting and that’s why I love it.
Favorite Song off the album? I would have to say my favorite song from the new album would be “Fast Life” and “I’m Sorry.” I’m also very proud of “See No More.”
On performing as a solo artist: Performing as a solo artist is definitely very exciting, especially with having the support from my brothers. I’m traveling the world and doing what I really love, so I wouldn’t change it for anything.
On Prediction about reactions on the album: I think the reactions will be really good. There’s been a lot of excitement surrounding the single. I think it’s an older and more mature album and fans will identify more with the songs, dance and have a good time.
Will there be another JB album?: We will do another album, but I’m not sure when that will happen. Right now, we’re focusing on our individual projects and we’ll see how long this takes.
On Spain: I love Spain. Everytime we come here it’s marvelous. The fans are incredible and the food is very good. It’s fantastic country to visit and it has so much culture and it’s so close to the rest of Europe that it’s magnificent. I love the girls in Spain, they’re very beautiful.
Songs in Spanish?: There are a couple of songs that could be translated that I think will come out really good in Spanish. Maybe I could do a duet with a Spanish artist. There are a couple of artists I love. I think Enrique Iglesias is really talented.
What’s a normal day like?: A normal day in my life is crazy. Today for example, we flew from Milan to here. We went straight to the interviews all day and finished around 11pm. That’s just kinda how it is. It’s really busy but fun.
On Inspiration: I’ve been inspired by everything. Good experiences; every experience…the fans, the travelling, love and romance.
On Love/heartbreak: I don’t think you can avoid it. People like to believe that it’s only girls’ who get heartbroken or do the heart breaking, but I’ve also been heartbroken and I’ve also been the one to end a relationship.
On his new sound: I think it’s a more mature sound. Definitely a different sound. I also think that people my age are going to be able to identify with the lyrics.
On Feelings on his new project/possibility of a tour: I’m very excited with this new solo adventure and I’m actually very anxious to hear the comments on the album. There are a couple of opportunities of a tour on the table, meaning I could be opening up for another artist/band or doing my own tour. I’d love to be able to come back and play in Spain.
On Describing his album: I would let them know that this is a very fun album. It comes from my heart. They are songs that I’ve tried to write as honestly as possible. I think it’s an album you can dance to and have a good time with it.
On Fan phenom: It’s crazy and a lot to take in, but you just have to go with it and have fun. The fans are very supportive and show that they’re still (will always be) here. The fact that they’re still singing our songs…I love it. Then he talks about a fan experience in Spain where they were expecting a couple of hundred people and thousands showed up and the police had to come.

Joe recently hit Chicago for his very first solo performance “It was my first time performing without my brothers. It was exciting, yet flying there I started getting those jitters, that feeling of oh crap, this is about to happen.”
Joe added, “It is an interesting feeling, I’ve performed before by myself, but actually performing my stuff alone, solo, it was a new experience. It was a flash, it was 15 minutes on stage, I just wanted to keep going, because once I got into the rhythm I was feeling so comfortable, I loved it.”

Joe gave us the pleasure of hearing him sing a few bars of “See No More” in the studio, “You walked away from me baby, I would’ve never done the same.” Ryan inquired what was behind those lyrics.
“It’s an end of a chapter song,” explained Joe, 21. “It’s about a break-up and going through situations where everything reminds you of the person.” When asked if this chapter was about ex-girlfriend, “Twilight” star Ashley Greene, Joe replied “I don’t want to name names, because then I think people are not going to be able to say ‘Hey I can relate to that’ if I say it, but they can determine who it is.”
“Heartache is never easy to go through, but you have to go through situations to have product to write about,” says Joe, who split with Ashley in March after they reportedly drifted apart due to busy work schedules.

The new album isn’t only about relationships and heartache though, as Joe says his influences stemmed from hip hop and Latin music and everything in between.
“['See No More'] is one of the only slower songs on the record. A lot of them are about being 21 and going out with your friends and enjoying life,” Joe says.
