Posted: 12:11 AM, June 1, 2011Fashion connoisseur Kanye West will present designer Phoebe Philo of French women’s brand Celine with the International Award at the CFDA Fashion Awards next Monday at Lincoln Center. The rapper gave Philo some street cred in his song “Dark Fantasy” when he rapped, “I’m just a Chi- town [bleep] with a Nas flow/and my chick in that new Phoebe Philo.” West will join Joe Jonas, event host Ander son Cooper and Lady Gaga, who will receive a Fashion Icon award.
Joe Jonas has had whopping success as part of a band, but now the middle Jonas is looking to try things out on his own by going out on his own — and Celebuzz will be giving you the first chance to hear his new single online in full.

In case you haven’t seen it again!
I notice these photos were posted randomly around twitter but we asked Elizabeth personally if we can add her photos to the gallery and credit her, she said it we could. So here you go. If you posted them anywhere, you should fix it and credit her. You can view a little video she filmed here where Joe talks about his album single coming out in a few days!
Joe Jonas, Alexander Noyes, John Taylor, Jack Lawless, Gregory Garbowsky, and friends went to Venice Beach for a Memorial Day BBQ and to spend some time at the beach. BRO FEST! :)
COMMENT BELOW: What do you think of the song so far? Do you LOVE IT, LIKE IT, HATE IT, or NOT SURE YET? We want to hear!
Grammy winner John Legend decided Dreams is so good, he wanted to keep it for himself and nabbed it back from the 21-year-old Jonas Brother, Joe.
John said: “I wrote the song Dreams with Joe and liked it so much as it felt like something I should do, so I asked him if I could have it back.
“He was fine about it thankfully, so it will be on my new album that I hope to put out in March next year.”
Joe’s first solo single See No More, out next month, sees him dabble with electro pop in a bid to become the new Justin Timberlake, 30.
Meanwhile, 32-year-old John is making his fourth album after last year’s politically charged Wake Up album picked up a Grammy for Best R&B Album.
He said: “I’ve written some new songs that are politically minded for this new album, love songs, songs about relationships and person-to-person relationships.
“I’ve written a song called All Of Me that I think will be really a big song, that could be a first single, and will connect with a lot of people.”
The first cut is due out in September and, hard at work in the studio with Kanye West, 33, John is determined to deliver another quality listen.
He added: “The new album is very far along so I’m really excited.
“Kanye is executively producing it and writing a lot of songs with me.
“It’s great when we’re in the studio together. It’s creative, fun and we’re always pushing ourselves to write better, produce better, do everything better.”
And what of John’s English protégé, 31-year-old Estelle?
He grinned: “She has a new single called Break My Heart, which I co-wrote and love.
“Her new album’s coming in September.”
Looking forward to it.

ACUVUE® BRAND CONTACT LENSES LAUNCHES CELEBRITY MENTORSHIP CONTEST WITH JOE JONAS, MEAGHAN MARTIN, CHARICE, ALLYSON FELIX, AND STERLING KNIGHT
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The five lucky winners will also receive a second trip to Los Angeles to attend a teen awards event, and a one-year supply of 1·DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® Brand Contact Lenses.*
To enter, now through June 30, 2011, contestants should go to the ACUVUE® Brand channel on YouTube, www.youtube.com/acuvue, and upload a (30) thirty to sixty (60) second video showcasing what they hope to achieve one day, how they find the confidence to pursue their dreams and why they should be chosen for this once-in-a-lifetime mentorship opportunity (**see rules).
Contestants also will be able to view other entries and vote for their favorite to win the First Prize – $2,000 to put towards their dream of what they will do 1·DAY.
In addition to contest entry and voting, viewers can also watch the ACUVUE® Brand roster of celebrity mentors’ inspiring stories of how they found the focus and confidence to bring their own dreams to life.
The mentors’ own stories represent common themes in young persons’ lives:
Never Giving Up:
“One Day isn’t just the name of my song, it’s an anthem for anyone whose dreams might seem bigger than life or unattainable, but they don’t give up,” says celebrity mentor Charice. “If you have that spirit, you can succeed.”Doing What You Love:
“I’d love to work with an aspiring musician or singer,” says celebrity mentor Joe Jonas. “Even when I was acting, music was always very important to me, to my family and I just can’t imagine not doing it. I’m excited to help someone focus on what steps they can take today to turn their passion into a career.”Overcoming Adversity:
“I wanted to fit in and make friends at my new school, but unfortunately I was teased and known as ‘chicken legs,’” says celebrity mentor Allyson Felix. “One day, I decided to try out for the school’s track and field team and ever since I’ve been showing the world what my ‘chicken legs’ can do. I’d love to work with someone to show them that great success and confidence can be found where you least expect it.”Finding Your Focus:
“Trying to be the best at everything is fun, but you can’t be exceptional at any one thing until you find your focus,” says celebrity mentor Sterling Knight. “One day it hit me that acting was what I really wanted to do with my life and having that focus still drives me to do better. I think it’s a good lesson for a young person who’s at that pivotal point in figuring out who they are, what they want to do.”Accepting Yourself:
“Like most young women, the years of glasses, braces, pimples and fashion drama were hard on me. When I finally got my braces off and got contact lenses, I felt better, more confident. The funny thing is, I noticed that people weren’t treating me any differently,” says celebrity mentor Meaghan Martin. “I realized that confidence comes from within and I had the power to feel good all along. That’s an important message to share.”*Awarded in the form of a $460.00 Visa Gift Card, which can be used toward ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses. Gift Cards are subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions as printed on the card and/or as specified by Visa.
