Fashion connoisseur Kanye West will present designer Phoebe Philo of French women’s brand Celine with the International Award at the CFDA Fashion Awards next Monday at Lincoln Center. The rapper gave Philo some street cred in his song “Dark Fantasy” when he rapped, “I’m just a Chi- town [bleep] with a Nas flow/and my chick in that new Phoebe Philo.” West will join Joe Jonas, event host Ander son Cooper and Lady Gaga, who will receive a Fashion Icon award.
