Desperately looking for a fresh start, Frank made a risky move to Los Angeles, where he ended up getting signed to Cherrytree Records. Arguably the most prominent up-and-coming label to hit the scene, it was the perfect fit for Frankmusik, providing him with the utmost freedom to produce and write the music he saw fit. The move to LA also provided him with the opportunity to work with a multitude of talented musicians, such as Joe Jonas and label mate Colette Carr…

I recently had the opportunity to speak to Frankmusik on everything from his debut album, Complete Me, to his experiences working alongside everyone from Erasure to Joe Jonas to up-and-coming pop princess, Sky Ferreira. Check out the interview:

Free-Wired: You’ve really been busy! You’ve been collaborating with Joe Jonas, Ellie Goulding, Simon Curtis. A lot of different artists, a lot of different sounds. How has that been like for you?
Frankmusik: It’s great! I love the fact that I’ve managed to be able to work with new, young, original artists and to see them fly the coop and go their own direction. It’s just been really, really great to be able to do lots of different things. I don’t limit myself with genre. I don’t limit myself in style of lyrics or arrangement. The more original, the better. That’s pretty much the best way I work; is when I’m doing my own project, then balancing it with working and producing and writing for other people as well.

Free-Wired: So how was it like working with Joe Jonas?
Frankmusik: Great guy! I wish I could work with him some more, but he’s a very busy, busy, busy chap, and so am I. He’s got great character, one of my favorite people that I’ve worked with in the studio. Very, very good nature, and great voice, great songwriter. So hopefully, you’ll be hearing his record real soon, and I’m really excited about it.

Free-Wired: That makes sense. So I’m particularly excited for the Simon Curtis and Joe Jonas stuff.
Frankmusik: Actually, I don’t know if the Joe Jonas stuff I did is gonna make the album, but we had great fun doing it and it was awesome. Me and Simon need to get back in the studio again at some point. I’d like to work with him again real soon. We just scratched the surface when we worked together. We didn’t really get enough time. Though we did do a really, really cute ballad and we did sort of start a real dance-y number, but I think we need to, like, jump in and – Actually, I wanna do a collaboration with him and Ro Danishei just for the hell of it.

The internet is going crazy at the moment with gossip about Joe Jonas collaborating with Chris Brown for his solo album. The news leaked via producer HitBoy, who tweeted a photo of the three of them at a session together.

But news the world doesn’t know yet: one smash hit record Joe Jonas & Chris Brown collaborated on was masterfully produced by BRIAN KENNEDY. Titled “See No More,” this record is already a lock to be a very prominent song on Joe’s forthcoming solo album. And BK just gave us the inside scoop on how the killer collaboration happened:

” I went over to play some music for Chris– he’s going to be working and recording non-stop this year. And Joe’s a nice guy, he was very like, kinda timid. CB and I were goin in on music and I could see he wants to be included. We’re listening to different stuff and Chris says to me, “You know, it’s Joe’s session”, and I was like “wait- I got something for Joe too you know.” “Joe,” I say to him, “what are you looking for?” Something gritty, he says to me. And I knew exactly what to play for him. I put on the track…. and everybody got just real quiet. When I feel the moment creatively I always know what to offer up. And interestingly, that was how it happened with the ballad “Shoulda Kisssed You”. I had twenty different song options to give Chris at that moment but my intuition’s saying….I need to play this one. Always go with your gut. The record ended up being just ridiculous. Stupid! Chris worked real hard with Joe to get those vocal melodies right- really pushed him. You’ll hear how he kills it. But man, (Chris) he’s real good at pushing everyone around him to bring their talents to the next level. That’s why I enjoy working with him.”

With the release of his debut solo album later this year, Joe Jonas and his team have launched a brand-new music website!

There’s nothing on the site just yet except for links to the 21-year-old musician’s Facebook and Twitter, but JJJ is hoping there’s something coming soon.

“We just launched a new Joe Jonas site dedicated to all the things Joe’s working on. More details will be posted very soon so keep checking in for new and exciting updates!” was the status left on his Facebook — so we’re is hoping for a new sneak peek of his music.

With a new independent label, N.A.R.S.; her Red Bottoms Foundation playing up women in the industry; and projects on both coasts, Arcaica is staying busy to say the least. Pausing for a second, she stopped to chat with 944 about Joe Jonas and how things are in the lion’s den.

944: You’re working with Joe Jonas on his solo project. How did you guys meet up?
MA: We have a mutual friend. It’s been a fun project to work on because he’s branching off from the Jonas thing, in his own little world. We’re experimenting a bit.

The Chris Brown collabos keep coming. Having already worked with teen idol Justin Bieber, Breezy logged studio time with another pop heartthrob, Joe Jonas. Hit-Boy, who produced the record, tweeted a photo of the three in the lab, writing, “Just did a smash! Whoooo.” The track may appear on the Jonas brother’s solo debut, which he describes as “electro indie pop rock.”

Joe Jonas gives Winston a little pick me up as they leave Kings Road Cafe after grabbing a bite to eat on Wednesday afternoon (April 6).

The 21-year-old musician tweeted exciting news yesterday. “Finished the album photo shoot today. So excited. A dream come true indeed. Can’t wait to show you all!”

Joe was most recently seen out, working on his physique at a local park with his trainer.

Joe Jonas gets in some exercise at a local park on Monday (April 4) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old singer worked on his fitness with a trainer who had him doing sets of sprints and push-ups.

Over the weekend, Joe and younger brother Nick enjoyed a guys’ night out with some bowling at Pinz.

Joe also hit the Kids’ Choice Awards to present the blimp for Favorite Movie.

Joe Jonas hops out of his car and heads into Trousdale nightclub on Friday (April 1) in West Hollywood, Calif.

On Wednesday, the 21-year-old singer hit the blue carpet at the Soul Surfer premiere, before heading over to the VIctoria’s Secret SWIM Collection Pink Carpet Event.

Joe then grabbed dinner at Hollywood hotspot Katsuya.

Joe is reportedly the latest celeb rumored to be considered to join Britney Spears on her upcoming tour.

Sources tell Zap2It, he’s “a top candidate” to replace Enrique Iglesias who bowed out of it earlier this week.
